Hilarious

Through a complete accident of posting a comment to the League of Conservation Voters' blog, I dug up this blog that I started in 2008 and never posted to ever again. This is hilarious because the content of my one and only previous blog post is how I start things (like journals, and now blogs) that never take off -- mostly because "I'm a disorganized mess." OK, that might be a bit harsh. In many aspects of my life I'm quite organized. But writing and blogging for fun or personal enrichment -- I don't seem to have that down quite yet. I do seem to be able to blog quite frequently in my capacity as the Communications Director for the Calif. League of Conservation Voters (visit www.ecovote.org for the proof).

Oh, and I did end up planning my wedding (we got hitched in Sept. 2008) so how disorganized could I really be?

Now why didn't I do this years ago? Oh yeah, I was (and am) a disorganized mess and have begun about a thousand journals or diaries that I wrote it for a few days before losing interest. (Does this sound familiar, ladies?) But damn, it's 2008 and I might as well join 'em since I'm unlikely to beat 'em. Also, I happen to be co-planning a wedding with my sweetie-pie boyfriend Dylan and I'd love to keep track of the many joys and frustrations with planning one of the biggest celebrations of my life thus far. And if anyone is at all interested, they can join the ride, or at least get a glimpse now and then. :)
